According to Iraqi President Saddam Hussein’s directives, Iraqi airliners loaded with medicine, medical supplies, foodstuffs and other relief products, have departed from the Saddam International Airport and arrived in Syria, destined for the people of Syria, who suffered damages due to the recent collapse of the Zeyoun dam in Hamah Province, according to Iraq News Agency INA.

Five Iraqi airliners arrived at the Damascus International Airport last week loaded with Iraqi supplies.

In addition, according to INA, medical teams have also been dispatched, in order to treat the victims and combat epidemics, which resulted from the dam’s collapse. (Albawaba.com)
