A female suicide bomber killed at least three people and injured four others in central Baghdad, police said on Sunday. The woman wearing a suicide vest detonated explosives in a shop after fleeing from guards at a checkpoint, in the Karrada district of the capital, police said.
In the northern city of Mosul, a police officer and two civilians died when a bomb in a parked car detonated, police said. The officer was examining the car when it was activated remotely.
