Seven members of the same Iraqi family have been killed in Mussayab, Iraq, in a series of attacks that left at least ten people dead and a further 46 wounded.
The family members were killed after one of the bombs went off near their home, south of Baghdad, Iraqi police said on Monday.
The town of Balad Rouz, east of Baquba city was also targeted when a string of three road bombs were set off early on Monday morning, killing one policeman and injuring four civilians.
Al Jazeera reported that the bombs were designed to hit the house of a tribal leader in the town as well as a police vehicle in the vicinity.
A further car bomb was set off on Monday in Babel province in front of a local government building, targeting the local council's convoy of cars. The bomb killed one civilian and injured five others.
According to Al Jazeera, the National Reconcilation adviser, Kalid Luhaibi, was also targeted, this time by unknown gunmen. The men attacked his house near Baquba city, west of Baghdad killing a security guard.
