Deputy Prime Minister Saleh al-Mutlaq told AP on Monday the current funding for the US-led coalition is insufficient to win the war against Daesh.

Furthermore, al-Mutlaq said that the coalition "should be more serious" in its fight against the group, and that Iraq needs more advanced weapons to beat Daesh.

He also stated a need for increased airstrikes against Daesh.

Today the US-led coalition conducted nine airstrikes against Daesh, including six in Iraq.

Jordan has also stepped up their attack against Daesh, allegedly destroying 20 percent of the their military capacity through 56 airstrikes.
