Iran's Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Sayed Ali Khamenei, on Friday condemned the United States as the accomplice of Israel in reppressing the Palestinians and stated "if some day a court is staged to deal with the Palestinian issue, the United States must also be docked."

Ayatollah Khamenei also denounced the "hue and cry" made by certain countries over Iran's nuclear activities as illegal and said "we know the motives of them. They live either under US influence or suffer from illusion."

"Whatever brings this nation to independence is frowned upon by the world hegemony system, while it looks upon everything in the world as pray."

"The hegemony system designed the Iraqi war to keep its presence in the Middle East and secure its economic interests. In such conditions, any effort by any country in the way of independence is frowned upon," he noted, according to IRNA

In some other parts of his speech, the Iranian leader spoke about the Palestinian issue and mentioned three major points in the whole Palestinian Intifada: "unprecedented oppression by the Zionist regime against the Palestinian nation," "the Palestinian robust resistence" and "the surprising silence of the international bodies towards the Zionist regime's criminal acts."
