Iran's supreme leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, on Sunday appointed Brigadier-General Habib Baqaie as the acting commander of the army, reported the official Iranian news agency (IRNA).
In a separate decree, Khamenei, who is also the commander-in-chief of the armed forces, appointed Brigadier-General Reza Pardis as the air force commander - Albawaba.com
