Iran's Judiciary Chief Calls for Establishing World Islamic Body

Iran's judiciary chief has called for establishing an international judicial council to defend Islamic law, reported the BBC.online. 

Addressing justice officials in Teheran, Ayatollah Mahmoud Hashemi-Sharudi said such a body would help foil plots against Islamic law and its principles, said the BBC. 

Iran is the current president of the Organization of the Islamic Conference (IOC) - Albawaba.com
