Iran's first lady heads delegation to Pakistan

Leading a nine-member delegation, Iran's First Lady is to arrive in Islamabad Sunday to take part in the third  

meeting of the Regional Steering Committee for the Advancement of Rural Island Women of the Asia Pacific (RSC-AP) starting February 10. 

 

In addition to taking part in the event, Zohreh Sadeqi (Khatami) will participate in functions marking the 25th anniversary of the Islamic Revolution, the inauguration of the Iran Colony's Mosque, and a conference sponsored by the Imam Hossein (AS) Central Conference on the Epoch of Karbala, a top Iranian diplomat told IRNA news agency in Islamabad Sunday.  

 

As many as 15 out of 17 member countries have confirmed their participation in the third summit, according to reports. (Albawaba.com)
