Iranian Reporters Arrested In Italy, Released Later

Italian Police released four Iranian reporters working for the Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting (IRIB) on Wednesday night after detaining them for several hours to check their passports and other papers. The four: Hamed  

Pishbin, Morteza Shabani, Syavoush Sarmadi and Mohammad Baqer Hosseini arrived in Rome ten days ago for IRIB news coverage, IRNA reported.  

Police arrested them while they were walking on the streets in central Rome and released them after several hours.  

Italian Immigration Office examined their passports and papers then released them upon confirmation of the validity of the documents. (Albawaba.com)
