Iran's Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei Friday called on the Iranian nation to massively go to the polls to choose the members of parliament in the seventh round of the parliamentary elections, slated to be held on February 20.
Speaking to thousands of worshipers at Tehran Friday prayers, the leader stated that a heavy turnout in the upcoming parliamentary elections by people would be a slap in the enemies' face and would disappoint them in pursuing the materialization of their evil schemes on Iran. According to IRNA, he was clearly pointing finger to the United States and its allies.
Khamenei called as "of prime importance" the holding of the seventh round of parliamentary elections and noted that both the friends and enemies of the Islamic Revolution are closely watching the election.
