Iran’s Foreign Minster Kamal Kharrazi arrived in Brussels Monday for two days of talks with senior EU and Belgian officials on the progress of relations between the EU and
Iran.
Kharrazi is set to meet with Javier Solana, EU High Representative for the Common Foreign and Security Policy on Monday morning.
Later on, he is expected to meet President of the EU Commission Romano Prodi and Commissioner for Trade Pascal Lamy, according to the official IRNA news agency.
On Tuesday, the visiting Foreign Minister is expected to meet EU Commissioner for foreign relations Chris Patten, Belgian foreign minister Louis Michel and President of the Belgian parliament Herman de Croo. (Albawaba.com)
