ALBAWABA- In a joint press conference held in Damascus, Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian, alongside the Syrian Foreign Minister, condemned the recent Israeli attack on the Iranian consulate. The attack resulted in casualties among Iranian military advisors and several Syrians.
During the conference, Foreign Minister Amir-Abdollahian stated that the victims of the Israeli attack on the Iranian consulate were military advisors holding diplomatic passports, emphasizing that Washington bears responsibility for the bombing of the Iranian embassy in Damascus. He also warned that the Zionist entity would face consequences for its actions.
Iranian Foreign Minister, Hossein Amir-Abdollahian, has asserted that the Zionist entity is currently facing its most precarious situation following its defeat in Gaza.
Echoing these sentiments, the Syrian Foreign Minister accused the Zionist enemy of attempting to escalate tensions due to its defeat in Gaza. He emphasized that the failed Zionist entity was built on hatred, malice, and aggression.
During his ongoing visit to Syria, Iranian Foreign Minister Abdollahian met with Syrian President Bashar Al-Assad and other top Syrian officials.
As part of the visit, the Iranian FM also inaugurated the new Iranian consulate, replacing the old building that was struck by an Israeli airstrike last week.
