Iranian Minister of Defense Rear Admiral Ali Shamkhani, in a message sent on Wednesday, expressed his condolences to the Saudi Arabian deputy prime minister and Defense Minister for the passing away of his brother.
Shamkhani, in his message to Prince Sultan implored God to bestow peace to the soul of the late emir of Mecca, IRIB reported.
Prince Majid, brother of the Saudi Defense Minister, passed away two days ago. He was Emir of Mecca for the past 20 years.
