Provisional Friday Prayer Leader of Tehran on Friday in his second sermon stressing Iranian nation's will not abandon its right to take peaceful advantage of nuclear energy, addressed US leaders, saying, "It is to your benefit to come to negotiation table without any Precondition."

Addressing thousands of Tehrani worshipers at Tehran University, Hojjatoleslam Ahmad Khatami referred to the "satanic moves made by the Americans in recent days" reiterating, "The US officials are after ratification of another UNSC resolution against Iran resorting to imposing pressure against other countries and political bullying." This week's Friday preacher of Tehran added, "The Americans and those who wish to be puppeteer by them need to heed two points: ratification of the first resolution bore no benefits for you. You passed a resolution but also noticed that it was absolutely of no value."

According to IRNA, he added, "The people have thanks God, led their normal lives, having not retreated the slightest bit, and the Government, too, has not backed up. On the eve of the (Iranian) New Year the people are quite calmly preparing themselves for the Norouz holidays, as if nothing has happened. If you would pass ten more resolutions, too, you would gain no more."

Hojjatoleslam Khatami further emphasized, "We repeat what we had earlier said about the peaceful nature of our nuclear program and that "we are not after taking military advantage of this technology. We also assure you that we will not compromise over our national right," and advise you, "It is to your own benefit to come to negation table with no preconditions."

He reiterated, "Beware! Our nation is fully harmonized with our government regarding Iran's nuclear program. The program is being pursued wisely, based on our interests, and in a way to preserve out prestige, relying on leadership of the Supreme Leader."
