ALBAWABA- The security of the entire Southwest Asian region will be at risk if Iran is attacked, warned Major General Mohammad Bagheri, Chief of Staff of the Iranian Armed Forces, on Wednesday.
He cautioned that any threat to Iran’s security would endanger not only the region but also those responsible for creating instability and their allies.
"If the enemy makes a mistake, the security of the Zionist regime and those involved in equipping and planning its operations will be in danger," Bagheri stated.
He emphasized Iran’s military readiness, asserting that its air defense systems are fully operational despite previous Israeli strikes.
"Iran's air defense is at peak readiness," he said, adding that minor damage from past attacks had been completely repaired.
Highlighting Iran’s military advancements, Bagheri noted that the country’s missile production continues at "very high quantity and quality."
Meanwhile, Brigadier General Amir Ali Hajizadeh, commander of the IRGC's Aerospace Forces, reaffirmed Iran’s commitment to retaliatory operations against Israel.
Referring to Iran's previous attacks, he stated, "Just as True Promise I and II were fulfilled, True Promise III will definitely be carried out—this is the people’s demand, and we will not forget it."
Hajizadeh also issued a warning regarding Iran’s nuclear sites, stressing that any attack on them would ignite a conflict beyond control.
"A fire will break out in the region whose dimensions cannot be calculated," he cautioned, asserting that Iran’s adversaries fear direct confrontation.
He further claimed that Iran has surpassed imitation in drone technology, with other nations now replicating Iranian designs.
The escalating tensions follow Israeli airstrikes on Iranian military installations last October, using U.S.-controlled airspace over Iraq. Iran’s air defenses intercepted the attack, but five people, including four army officers and one civilian, were killed.
In response, Iran has vowed to proceed with its next retaliatory operation, True Promise III.
