ALBAWABA- Iran's Revolutionary Guard has revealed a vast underground missile facility housing thousands of precision-guided ballistic missiles, marking a significant show of military strength.
Iranian state television has broadcast footage of a previously undisclosed underground tunnel operated by the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), referring to it as the "Missile City Unveiling."
The facility is reported to house various advanced ballistic missiles, including the Khaybar Shekan, Haj Qasem, Emad, Sejjil, and the Paveh cruise missile.
Iranian Chief of Staff declared that Iran’s military capabilities have grown exponentially, claiming that the country's pace of advancement far outstrips its adversaries' ability to compensate for their weaknesses. He added that the enemy will "remain behind in the balance of power."
The unveiling comes just hours after U.S. intelligence chief Tulsi Gabbard stated that Iran is not actively pursuing nuclear weapons and Supreme Leader Ayatollah Khamenei has not ordered the activation of a nuclear weapons program.
Meanwhile, Iran’s Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi reaffirmed Tehran’s commitment to diplomacy, stating that Iran acts based on its national interests and not under U.S. pressure.
Tensions remain high as the U.S. continues its policy of "maximum pressure" on Iran through economic sanctions.
While U.S. President Donald Trump previously attempted to initiate talks through a letter sent via a UAE envoy, Iranian officials maintain that negotiations will only occur under fair conditions, free from coercion or threats.
