ALBAWABA - The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps seized two ships in the Gulf carrying more than one million liters of smuggled fuel, Iranian media confirmed on Thursday.

The Iranian army also referred to ships' crews, consisting of 15 foreigners, to the judiciary.

This comes amid increasing tension in the region between Tehran and Washington and a possible U.S. strike on Tehran.

On the other hand, the U.S. and Iran have agreed earlier to hold talks in Oman on Friday, officials for both sides revealed.
