Iran's President Mohammad Khatami on Tuesday evening voiced his hope that after President Hugo Chavez's victory in the recent Venezuelan recall election the big powers would not have any opportunity to interfere in local affairs of that
country. According to IRNA, the Iranian leader made these comments during a telephone conversation with his Venezuelan counterpart.
