Iranian Minister of Sicence, Research and Technology, Jafar Tofighi, on Friday hailed the inauguration of Arak heavy water complex which was designed and operated by local experts.
Referring to the production of heavy water as a complicated technologies, he said: "By operating this unit many scientific and specialized fields would be activated and the universities across the country would be ready to call up the needed experts and lead their researches in accordance with their needs and trend of the progress of this unit."
Heavy water equipments are among those fields in which both universities and industrial sectors can cooperate, the official said.
