Iran's Defence Minister Brigadier-General Mostafa Najjar said on Wednesday the defence ministry and military would hold joint military exercises within next month. He told reporters that new weapons would be introduced in the military maneuver. Defence minister said that Iranian-made Azarakhsh (thunder) fighter planes will be introduced in the exercise.
According to IRNA, Najjar dismissed allegations made by Israel and US that 600 Iranian missiles are targetting occupied Palestine as psychological war by enemies. "We are determined to serve the peace, stability and security in Middle East," the minister conveyed.
Najjar also made it clear that after Israel's defeat in Lebanon last July-August 2006 by Hizbullah, it pursues psychological war, because it can not tolerate powerful Iran. He further added that "We monitor all movements of the enemies and will respond strongly to any attack against Iranian territories."
