ALBAWABA - Some media outlets allegedly claimed that a shooting took place in Kerman province in Iran where yesterday twin blasts took place near the shrine of IRGC leader Qassem Soleimani.
Tasnim News posted denying the reports shared by some media. It posted on X (formerly Twitter): "While a few minutes ago, some media claimed that the sound of gunfire was heard in Kerman, but the follow-up by Tasnim reporters in Kerman indicates that this claim is not true and full security is maintained in Kerman."
Tasnim news also added that its reporter in Kerman revealed that following the twin blasts on Jan. 4, security was restored to the area near the cemetery where Qassem Soleimani was buried.
On Wednesday, two blasts struck Kerman province with 15 minutes apart.
The emergency chief in Kerman revealed that the number of deaths in the blasts hit 103 while the number of injured reached 188.
