Iran's Foreign Ministry Spokesman Mohammad Ali Hosseini said Thursday that US president George W. Bush's unilateralism and "spiteful attitude" against Iran would not affect Tehran's nuclear activities. According to Hosseini, Bush could not make good on its past mistakes by raising false allegations as he approaches the end of his presidency.
Bush's "irresponsible words" are a continuation of his past "crisis-making policy" and approaches of American neoconservatives, who raise baseless allegations against Iran's peaceful nuclear activities aimed to dishearten the Iranian nation, said the Iranian official, according to IRNA.
"Desperate doings" of the US president would bolster unity among Iranian nation and their will to defend their legitimate rights, said Hosseini calling on US officials to observe international regulations and avoid getting isolated worldwide.
On Wednesday, Bush claimed while in Germany that no options -- including the military one -- were ruled out in trying to get Iran to drop its nuclear program.
