Iran is considering to join the World Trade Organization (WTO), reported Iran News Agency, quoting ambassador to China Mohammad Hossein Malaek as saying.
Malaek said "Iran is now seriously considering being an active partner of the world, joining the World Trade Organization, bringing up the 'Dialog among Civilizations', and holding international conferences on investment."
The ambassador said that the third Millennium has arrived, and it is the age of free interchanges, speedy transfer of information and homogeneous world economy.
He added that in such circumstances, new challenges are facing countries like Iran.
"The system of production has changed, commercial relations are becoming electronic and financial and money markets have clearly undergone great changes and all these developments have influenced Iran," he added - Albawaba.com
