One of substitute Friday Prayers leaders of Tehran Ayatollah Mohammad Emami Kashani called on UN Friday to fulfill its obligation to safeguard votes of Iraqi people and provide security during elections.
According to IRNA, he made the remark while addressing thousands of worshipers in central campus of Tehran University for the political-divine prayer rituals.
He added that the Iraqis expected the UN not to follow the US directions and to prevent any probable fraud during the Iraqi elections by proving its presence in the scene and exerting a direct supervision of the whole affair.
