Iran art exhibition opens in Ankara

The Iranian Art and Culture Exhibition opened Saturday afternoon in the Turkish capital of Ankara. In holding the exhibition, Turkish ministries of culture and tourism, foreign affairs as well as the Ankara Municipality cooperated
with Iran's embassy cultural attache.


In the exhibition, 40 works of miniatures and illuminations, 20 works of calligraphy and painting, 15 classical works of painting, handicrafts, compact discs of Iranology, brochures and posters are displayed, according to <i>IRNA</i>.


At the opening ceremony, Iran's Ambassador to Turkey Firouz Doulatabadi  expressed hope that Turkish art lovers get acquainted with Iranian art and culture.
