ALBAWABA- Israeli Channel 12 reported that the Chief of Staff received the preliminary results of the Intelligence Division’s investigation into the October 7 failure. The investigation indicates that the warnings were sufficient to prevent the attack.

In a related development, the Israeli Broadcasting Corporation announced that the Public Prosecutor has requested the opening of a criminal investigation against National Security Minister Itamar Ben Gvir on charges of incitement to violence against Gaza residents.

Ben Gvir, known for his extremist views, recently demanded the execution of all Palestinian detainees by shooting them in the head and expressed satisfaction with Israeli jails being full of Palestinians.

His inflammatory statements have underscored the threat posed by the far-right Israeli government to both Palestinian detainees and Israeli society.

On his part, Ben Gvir comments on the Prosecutor, saying that the Public Prosecutor’s request to open an investigation against me appears to be a fabricated attempt at character assassination that will not succeed.
