INTRACOM IT Services Middle east and Africa signed an agreement with Zain Jordan, according to which, INTRACOM will implement EMC2's Information Lifecycle Management vision in Zain's datacenter, therefore Optimizing the flow of the information with a sound strategy for creating, organizing and disposing of Zain's information assets.
The agreement with Zain will see INTRACOM utilizing EMC2's Information Lifecycle Management vision by consolidating Zain's information assets into a unified lifecycle management model and leverage its content in all its forms, thus making it available to all Zain's enterprise applications with guaranteed security and selectivity in applying limits to viewing, editing, printing, or routing, making sure the content remains secure as it is shared internally and externally. Also, INTRACOM will create archiving models that can consolidate distributed archives and processes within an enterprise content repository.
INTRACOM's CEO Tareq Abu Sharar said that INTRACOM is working intensively and collaboratively with its international partners to fulfil the needs of INTRACOM's clients in Jordan and the MEA region. He noted "With INTRACOM and EMC2, companies can avoid the potentially serious risks and reduce the significant costs associated with managing information, while fully exploiting its value for business advantage, therefore Zain has chosen INTRACOM to see the integration its business applications with an information platform that is secured and easy to retain in case of data lose."
