Intertec Systems offers training programme on Information Security for IT managers
Technical and business issues of ISO/IEC 27001:2005 will be discussed in detail during the three-day programme

Intertec Systems, a leading IT solutions provider with clients and implementations across the GCC and India, is organizing a three-day training programme on the technical and business issues of ISO/IEC 27001:2005 ISMS for the benefit of IT managers across the region.

The training programme is scheduled to take place from June 10 -12, 2008 at Flora Grand Hotel, Deira, Dubai from 9 am to 6 pm. The programme will feature in-depth discussions on the necessary skills to both implement and how to maintain effective ISMS. The seminar will also include case studies and role plays, simulating a real world assessment and certification process.

The training programme is being conduction in association with Network Security Solutions (NSS). The Malaysia-based NSS is Asia’s leading Information Security Company and a leader in providing high-end consultancy services to organizations across different industries.

The three-day training programme will cover topics such as determination of scope and information security policy, identification of information assets, identification of control objective and controls, completion of ISMS documentation requirements, certification process and production of ISMS project implementation plan
