Looking for meaningful opportunities and interaction with the local community, InterContinental Doha with the collaboration of the Qatar Society for Rehabilitation & Special Needs, celebrated Garangau, the traditional and popular children’s festival, for the 2nd consecutive year at Fawanees Ramadan Tent.

100 children from 3 associations in Doha visited the tent today. Dressed in their national costumes, children sang traditional songs and interacted with the staff and the management team of the hotel.

Mr. Martin van Kan, InterContinental Doha General Manager, stated, “this is a great opportunity for the children to spend some time in a different environment, and it’s really a pleasure to see the same faces again”.

The Management team distributed special Fawanees Ramadan boxes full of sweets and nuts during the event.
