A Mig-21 fighter, belonging to the Indian Air Force (IAF), crashed Thursday afternoon on a house near the local air base in Srinagar, capital of India-controlled Kashmir. The aircraft crashed at 14:25 local time (8:55 GMT), when it was coming in to land at the Srinagar airport following an "operational sortie," the Press Trust of India (PTI) reported.
It crashed on a house in a village about four kilometers from the airport and killed the owner of the house. (Albawaba.com)
