This week Mrs. Sashil Bhani, an Indian house wife, added her name to the list of lucky DSS weekly raffle winners, and walked away with another staggering 500,000 dirhams!
The winner said, “I have never expected to be one of the fortunate winners that I keep reading about. I came to the UAE to build a life I have always dreamed about things getting better steadily. Today all my plans for my family and our future can come true. I feel truly blessed. I simply can not describe this feeling. Mrs. Sashil Bhani filled in the coupon at Burjuman Centre during her recent visit to the mall.
Mr. Eisa Adam Ebrahim, President of DSMG, drew the winning coupon at Time Square Centre this evening, and commented: “We are recording an excellent increase in sales on raffle coupons received compared to last year. The sales on coupons generated 78,600,000 Dirhams increasing 175% compared to fourth week of last years DSS. This draw is the fifth for this season, so we are half way through DSS with only five more draws, 2.5 million dirhams to win, and five more lucky winners.”
Abdulla Amiri, Senior Services & operations Coordinator, DSS Office said: “The ‘Shop and win Millions’ Campaign is the biggest promotion since DSS inception and it has proven to be a huge success. The fact that our in-Mall events are witnessing an overwhelming response from shoppers and visitors is also a helping factor for the success of this promotion.
The winning coupon this week was coupon number //1844397. Shoppers at all 21 participating DSS malls will get one raffle coupon for every 200 dirhams worth of purchases. Purchases made using MasterCard credit cards will automatically receive three coupons for every two hundred dirhams. Throughout the DSS period, winners shall be announced every Thursday evening, between five and five-thirty, at different participating malls. The next draw shall be at Dubai Festival City on August 2nd 2007. The winners of the raffle are also announced live on TV by Sama Dubai.
