ALBAWABA- In a devastating incident, dozens have lost their lives, and many others are missing or wounded in a landslide in northern Tanzania following heavy torrential rains. 

The toll from the floods and landslides triggered by heavy rains has surged to 57 fatalities, with an additional hundreds of people reported injured at Manyara Region.

Tanzanian President Samia Hassan has issued directives to mobilize rescue efforts urgently to aid those affected by this catastrophic event.
