Huawei Technologies Co., Ltd. (“Huawei”), a leader in providing next generation telecommunications network solutions for operators around the world, and Vodafone, the largest mobile operator in the world, have introduced the Vodafone-branded V710 consumer 3G handset.
The launch of the V710 follows Huawei’s landmark agreement with Vodafone in February this year to manufacture and supply exclusive Vodafone-branded consumer 3G handsets for Vodafone across 21 countries for five years. The handset, customised by Huawei, has been launched in the UK, Germany, Spain, Italy, Ireland, Greece, the Netherlands, Romania and Portugal to date.

In line with our tradition of taking a customer-centric approach, Huawei focused its product development roadmap on research and development, production excellence and stringent testing to guarantee on time delivery of the V710.”
The dual-mode V710 has a clamshell design and supports WCDMA/GPRS/GSM networks. Weighing 99 grams, the handset is light, delicate and streamlined. The Vodafone V710 incorporates easy access to core Vodafone services including Vodafone Radio DJ, Mobile TV, music downloads, video telephony and Vodafone live! 3G applications. The handset also includes an MP3 music player, a 1.3 megapixel camera and is Bluetooth enabled.
