HTC partners with i2 and Authentec in run-up to launch HTC Care program
Collaboration aims to ensure innovative after-sales support throughout GCC & the entire Middle East region
High Tech Computer Corp. (HTC), the global leader in Microsoft Windows Mobile-based smart devices, has revealed that it is poised to consolidate its market leadership with the launch of the HTC Care customer support program, which is part of HTC’s strategy to expand its service and collection points across the GCC states. From mid 2008, HTC clients can enjoy a wide range of customised after-sales services through HTC’s regional service partners i2 and Authentec.
Under the program, i2, one of the largest mobile phone distributors and retailers in the Middle East and Africa; and Authentec, a leading mobility service provider in the Gulf; will provide personalised consultations on HTC products, facilitate quick and efficient warranty repairs, and monitor the progress of devices under repair. The HTC resellers will also provide a temporary replacement device for repairs that require extended periods.
“Our partnership with i2 and Authentec will enable us to provide optimal support to our Gulf customers. We are committed to complementing our powerful array of products with excellent after-sales services, which we believe will greatly help us consolidate our position in the Gulf’s burgeoning mobile phone market. The extensive market reach and broad consumer patronage of i2 and Authentec will enable us to achieve this goal," said Kevin Chen, General Manager of HTC Middle East, Africa and CIS.
The HTC Care program now utilizes the service and collection points of i2 and Authentec to combine more than 80 collection points and over 30 service centres, making it as convenient as possible for HTC’s valued customers to get to the nearest location to their home or office for repair or service of their devices. This program is all the more significant to HTC since its main target audience comprise of businessmen and IT specialists – to whom time is a premium. Accordingly, HTC has ensured that their service and collection points are strategically spread across the GCC and the Middle East region.
The HTC Care program also features the support of a dedicated call center, which offers professional technical support plus remote assistance and follow ups in both Arabic and English. Customers can now call the toll free number to enquire about everything from where to buy HTC phones to how to configure their devices. HTC’s well-trained professional care agents will effectively answer queries and resolve issues in the shortest possible time.
“HTC shares our partners’ commitment to understanding the requirements of the region's market to be able to provide products and services that create a significant positive impact on clients. We urge our valued customers to take advantage of our excellent after-sales services and add a new dimension to their HTC experience. It is our continuous goal to develop more after-sales programs that offer greater value to our products," concluded Chen.
