New colour and monochrome LaserJets and software tools deliver innovation, quality and productivity value to customers
Dubai, United Arab Emirates, July 15 – HP today announced new colour and monochrome LaserJet printers as well as innovative software tools that will enable small work teams and SMBs to improve their marketing effectiveness and overall productivity. The HP Color LaserJet CP3505 is the first printer to ship with new software tools and resources to help SMBs improve their marketing capabilities. The new printer is designed to boost productivity and deliver bold, brilliant colour materials at speeds of up to 21 pages per minute (ppm) in best print quality default mode. Also launched today, the new HP LaserJet P2014 Printer and HP Easy Printer Care Software 2.2 provide ease-of-use and simplify printer management.

Product highlights from today’s announcement include:
• HP Color LaserJet CP3505 Printer series: Designed for high-productivity work teams any size of business that need a fast[i], reliable colour printer that is easy to use and manage. Its fast printing speeds maximises user efficiency whilst ensuring professional results.
• HP LaserJet P2014 Printer: The compact device is an easy-to-use, value packed printer for economy-minded users. A reliable high performance black-and-white printer at an affordable price, containing an all-in-one print cartridge and offering support for Microsoft Windows Vista™ and numerous other operating systems.
• HP Easy Printer Care Software 2.2: A powerful one-stop management solution to effortlessly administrate and maintain up to 15 HP LaserJet printers and multi-function printers (MFPs). Designed to save time and control costs, the new version offers proactive alerts to resolve printing issues, generates printer usage reports and periodically tracks toner cartridge and paper levels for an improved reordering experience. Ideal for unmanaged, networked printers. HP Easy Printer Care Software 2.2 is a free software and will be available for download from 8 June, 2007.
HP is also providing further support to SMBs with the launch of the HP In-House Marketing Resource Center software, a free desktop tool that appears on a customers’ PC for easy access to all of HP’s in-house marketing resources and new specialised tools for great cost savings, flexibility and control, such as:
• Print Cost Estimator: This tool will quickly highlight the cost advantages of printing in-house versus outsourcing for customers’ specific jobs at hand only. Available only on networked color LaserJet printers it gives customers the ability to add their own printing jobs for cost evaluation.
• HP Print View Software: Enables customers to dynamically view the actual output of marketing documents before they hit “print”
