ALBAWABA - Four hostages were reportedly freed from Gaza today by the Israeli occupation force during an operation that took place in the Nuseirat camp in the center Gaza Strip, according to a U.S. administration source quoted by Axios. The "American Hostage Cell in Israel" was instrumental in making this happen.
According to Al Jazeera, the Israeli occupation army published photos of the captives being loaded into Israeli military helicopters on the beaches of Gaza. The pictures showed "gunmen" chasing the hostage-carrying vehicle, shooting at it, and inflicting damage. Reliable sources claim that the army needed more troops since they were unable to land a chopper close to the evacuation point.
The four captives are Noa Argamani, Almog Meir, Andrei Kozlov, and Shlomi Zeev, according to an Israeli army statement, which also said that their health is stable. They were sent to Tel Hashomer Hospital for medical examinations.
Operation "highly complex," involving many land, air, and marine elements, was how military spokesperson Daniel Hagari characterized it. The Chief of Staff and the Shin Bet chief oversaw the expedition; they had spent weeks organizing it based on information and in consultation with the hostage operations command, the Shin Bet operations room, and other relevant parties.
To provide fire cover, hundreds of combat personnel from the Shin Bet, the 98th Battalion, the paratroopers, and the air and naval forces took part.
Israeli special forces were seen operating a civilian car and a humanitarian assistance truck in exclusive video that Al Jazeera was able to get. The video showed Israeli jets carrying out unprecedented attacks on the camp and other places in central Gaza, while civilian cars entered western Nuseirat under the protection of Israeli forces. Over 150 Palestinians were killed and several more were injured as a consequence of these airstrikes.
Tens of thousands of people have died and been injured as a result of the Israeli army's devastating eight-month operation in Gaza, mostly women and children. This has resulted in an unparalleled humanitarian and health disaster.
