ALBAWABA- The Houthi-run Yemeni Armed Forces announced the launch of a hypersonic ballistic missile, named "Dhu al-Fiqar," targeting Israel's Ministry of Defense in the Jaffa area of Tel Aviv. 

According to the Ansar Allah military spokesperson, the missile struck its target with high precision, marking a significant escalation in regional hostilities.

"The 'Dhu al-Fiqar' missile reached its destination with high accuracy, and the enemy's defense systems failed to intercept it," the spokesperson claimed. 

The attack reportedly caused material damages and fires, as Israeli media reported explosions in the southern region of Eilat along the Red Sea.

In response, the Israeli military confirmed the launch of a rocket from Yemen, which triggered warning sirens in southern Israel. 

While no official confirmation of casualties has been provided, Israeli authorities are assessing the extent of the damage.

The Houthi military spokesperson added that the attack was conducted in coordination with regional resistance groups and reiterated their commitment to responding to violations of the ongoing ceasefire agreement.
