ALBAWABA- The Yemeni Armed Forces, led by Ansar Allah (Houthis), announced the launch of a hypersonic ballistic missile named Palestine-2, targeting Ben Gurion Airport near Tel Aviv.

In a televised statement on Monday, Houthi military spokesperson General Yahya Saree confirmed the strike, claiming it caused widespread panic, forcing millions of Israeli settlers into shelters and disrupting air traffic.

General Saree said the operation was carried out in direct retaliation for the storming of Al-Aqsa Mosque by extremist settlers under the protection of Israeli National Security Minister Itamar Ben Gvir.

He stressed that Yemeni forces would continue their military operations in support of the Palestinian people, vowing to stand by Gaza “until victory” and to support “Palestine until liberation and independence.”

“Our missile units successfully targeted Lod Airport in occupied Jaffa with a hypersonic ballistic missile,” Saree declared, adding that such strikes will continue “despite Zionist threats or consequences.”
The latest missile strike comes just two days after the Houthis claimed responsibility for three drone operations targeting Israeli sites in Jaffa, Ashkelon, and Haifa. These escalating attacks mark a growing involvement of Houthi-led forces in the regional conflict, as they position themselves as defenders of Palestine and Islamic holy sites.
