ALBAWABA - The Houthi group announced early Tuesday morning that they had targeted Ben Gurion Airport in Israel with two ballistic missiles, "the Zulfiqar and the Palestine 2".
The Yemeni militia also added they had a confrontation with the USS Truman aircraft carrier in the Red Sea amid continued US airstrikes on Houthi targets in the country.
Houthi military spokesperson Yahya Saree revealed in a statement that "the missile force of the Yemeni armed forces targeted Ben Gurion Airport in occupied Jaffa with two ballistic missiles, the Zulfiqar and the Palestine 2."
He continued: "The Yemeni Armed Forces targeted the Truman carrier along with a number of enemy warships in the Red Sea with a number of missiles and drones in the second engagement within 24 hours," and that "the engagement with the Truman and the American warships lasted for several hours."
Saree affirmed the group's strong stance in continuing to "prevent Israeli navigation and target the depth of the occupied entity until the aggression and siege on Gaza are halted."
