Houthi rebels take Yemen’s state news agency

Information Minister Nadia Sakkaf said Shiite Houthi rebels have taken over the Yemen's state news agency and television station in a "step toward a coup," reports the Associated Press.

Clashes between the government and the Houthi rebels began early Monday at the presidential palace.

No causalities were reported so far.
