Houthi missile attacks target US-UK naval forces in Red Sea and Gulf of Aden

While American forces successfully intercepted and destroyed one Houthi missile, five others landed dangerously close to commercial ships, fortunately causing no damage.

ALBAWABA- The Pentagon confirmed today that the Houthis launched multiple attacks in the Red Sea, using Iranian-sourced missiles and drones, according to the US Defense Intelligence Agency. 

Speaking to Al Jazeera, an American official disclosed that the Houthis deployed anti-ship ballistic missiles, firing a total of six at shipping lines in the region. 

While American forces successfully intercepted and destroyed one Houthi missile, five others landed dangerously close to commercial ships, fortunately causing no damage.

The attacks mark a concerning escalation in tensions, highlighting the ongoing threat posed by the Houthis in the strategic maritime corridor.
