ALBAWABA - A Hollywood-style crime took place in New York City on Monday, where a gunman killed four people, including a police officer, media reported.
According to the AFP, a man with a gun walked into a skyscraper in central Manhattan and opened fire in broad daylight, officials detailed.
A fifth person was injured and is in critical condition. The gunman shot himself immediately after the incident, Mayor Eric Adams said in a press conference at a hospital near the scene of the shooting.

A camera captured the moment when the shooter was riding a black BMW carrying an M-4 rifle, and entering the building, then he started shooting at a police officer before "spraying the lobby" with bullets, police commissioner Jessica Tisch told the media.
After that, AFP continued citing the NYPD that the killer took an elevator to the 33rd floor, of Rudin Management, which owns the building, and continued his spree before apparently shooting himself. He was later discovered by officers next to his weapon.
