The bodies of Israeli Druze man and woman were found Tuesday morning in a field near the Galilee village of Abu Snan. The two were members of the same clan and had been missing since Monday night, reported the Tel Aviv-based daily, Haaretz. It said that police investigation discovered that the two were romantically involved, despite the fact that the 38-year-old woman was married and had five children. Police suspect that the woman's two brothers murdered their sister and her friend, a 39-year-old man with four children, out of anger at their relationship. A Galilee district police commander told Haaretz that the two were brought to the field and beaten to death. Police said Tuesday afternoon that they had found the man who drove the two to the site where they were murdered, but that he was probably not involved in the crime. A court has extended the remand for the woman's two brothers by six days – Albawaba.com
