An earthquake, measuring 7.1 magnitude struck off Honduras' coast early Thursday, killing at least four people. The strong earthquake struck some 65 kilometers northeast of the city of Roatan.
One man was killed as his house collapsed in the northern city of La Lima, about 50 kilometers west of the coast.
The last big quake reported in Honduras was almost ten years ago with a powerful earthquake, measuring 6.5 on the Richter scale.
