Homage was paid to the well-known Algerian actor Hassan-El-Hassani (1916-1987) at the opening ceremony of the seventh edition of Hasan-El-Hassani Theatre Festival on Monday September 19. Hasan-El-Hassani, who starred in famous movies like “La Derniere Image” (1986) (Last Image), “Retour a Cherchell” (1983) (Return to Cherchell) “Chronique des annees de braise” (1975) (Chronicle of the Years of Fire), passed away in 1987.
The seventh edition of Hassan-El-Hassani Theatre Festival, annual cultural event organized for the memory of Hasan-El-Hassani, is currently in progress with the stage performances of theatre groups from 17 wilayas including Constantine, Oran, Bejaia, Ain Defla and Adrar.
