Homage was paid to the Moroccan artist Driss Cherradi and to the memory of the late Spanish artist Don Oreillio Gomez Panios within the framework of the “Guitar and Music” Festival in Asilah. Le Matin reports that Driss Cherradi, born in Lkssar Lkebir, was the director of the Larache Music Academy, and contributed a lot to the Moroccan musical repertory. As for the Spanish artist Don Orellio Gomez Panios, he started teaching music classes at the Arab-Spanish School of Lareche in 1934 and created a music group the same year. Gomez contributed to the creation of many festivals given in several cities in the North of Morocco.
