hill international participated for the first time at abu-dhabi conference 2007
Hill International (Nasdaq:HINT) -the worldwide construction consulting firm- has ended yesterday, its first participation at “Abu-Dhabi Conference 2007” in Abu-Dhabi , that was held at the “Emirates Palace” from the 18th -19th November 2007.
‘The Abu-Dhabi Conference 2007’ offers Abu Dhabi’s key decision makers, Government officials and leading industry figures, an exceptional chance to influence and refine the future landscape of the Abu Dhabi economy, and capitalize on the future growth of the UAE's capital.
“Hill International’s management is fully aware of the boom Abu Dhabi is experiencing, as well as the scarcity of qualified resources due to the enormous volume of high end projects, so it was crucial to attend and participate at such prestigious conferences to raise awareness and foster Abu-Dhabi’s development” said Mohammed Al Rais, Senior Vice President with Hill International.
“We have been working with clients in Abu Dhabi on a cost plus / target price formulas to ensure that we do get our projects done on time and on budget. I must stress though, that it is paramount that the correct formula of partnership should evolve; this includes the appropriate form of contract, and adjustments to the same, in order to safeguard everybody’s interests and insure transparency. This is to avoid ambiguity, which results in abortive measures whether in the design or construction stages – leading to potential claims” added Al Rais.
