Hezbollah targets Israeli barracks; Israel responds with airstrikes

ALBAWABA- Tensions flared up at the border as Hezbollah fighters launched rockets toward the Israeli Zibdin barracks in the occupied Shebaa Farms, located south of Lebanon.

According to a statement from Hezbollah, they targeted a building used by Israeli soldiers in the Avivim settlement, claiming a direct hit with appropriate weaponry.

In retaliation, the Israeli army launched strikes on multiple locations in southern Lebanon. An Israeli military spokesperson confirmed they attacked a military building in the Mays al-Jabal area. 

The Israeli forces also carried out raids on Hezbollah military buildings in Aita al-Shaab and reconnaissance sites in Alma al-Shaab.

This latest exchange marks a significant escalation in the volatile border region, raising concerns about further military confrontations.
