ALBAWABA - Ibrahim Aqil, the leader of the Radwan Force, was killed in an Israeli attack on the southern suburbs of Beirut, and Hezbollah arranged a military burial for him today.

There was a lot of political and popular engagement during the burial, which Hezbollah Deputy Secretary-General Naim Qassem attended, amid cries demanding revenge against Israel.

A gathering of Radwan Force commanders was taking place in a subterranean location when Aqil and other leaders, including Ahmad Wahbi, were killed in an Israeli attack. According to the Lebanese Health Ministry, at least 10 people have died as a result of the bombing, bringing the total number of fatalities to 45.

Qassem said at the burial that Hezbollah has moved into a new phase known as "the open reckoning battle" and threatened to cause Israel to "die of fear" as a result of Hezbollah's preparations. He said that this accounting included the group's latest missile attacks, which included hits on Israel's Rafael military complex and the Ramat David Airbase close to Haifa.

Hezbollah will not reveal its strategy for dealing with Israeli aggression in the future, Qassem said, but the organization is prepared for any military difficulties that may arise. Along with accusing Israel of targeting civilians, including children and medical personnel, he also promised to keep up resistance until the conflict in Gaza ends.
