ALBAWABA- A heavy missile bombardment from Lebanon targeted Kiryat Shmona and its surrounding areas. Sirens sounded in Kiryat Shmona and several towns in northern Israel for the second time within minutes. 

Israeli interceptor missiles exploded in the airspace over border villages in the eastern sector of southern Lebanon. Rockets were launched from southern Lebanon towards Israeli positions in the Galilee Finger. 

The sirens were heard in Kiryat Shmona, Margaliot, and multiple towns in the Galilee region. Yedioth Ahronoth reports that Kiryat Shmona and the surrounding area in northern Israel are under heavy bombardment.

Hezbollah Resistance announced that the targeting of Kiryat Shmona was a response to the Israeli enemy’s attacks on resilient southern villages and civilian homes. 

The statement highlighted the horrific massacre carried out by the Israeli forces in the city of Bint Jbeil, which resulted in the martyrdom of civilians.
